Gossamer is a piece which was commisioned and not part of my Transatlantic exhibition. My brief was to keep it simple, with aspects of gold, bronze and white. There are several white layers in the piece, and "in the flesh" so to speak, it is beautifully soft, with whisps of various pigments - which we named "Gossamer" as it reallly is, as soft as a piece of chiffon blowing in the wind..
